Influences:
Respect the old school, love it and play it, but did not experience it. By old school I mean shit from 1973. I got into it in 1982, so by some people's definition, I am old school, and in the UK that's true, whereas I was there for all other areas of hip hop. I started picking up vinyl around 1984, mainly Electro, then got heavily into the whole Drum Machine era, and basically loved the mid 80s to late 80s era the most. Next love is the renaissance in hip hop in the early 90s, the Boom Bap Golden Era, Main Source, Gang Starr, EPMD etc, and I also got mad love for the whole Britcore scene, artists like Encona Coarse, Hijack, Demon Boys etc. I've got feet firmly planted in the past and the present, and use all my knowledge for inspiration for new tracks. I'm also inspired to sample from a wide range of genres, but the production is strictly hip hop. I'm not into negativity, but I'll still play some ig'nant shit sometimes, depends on my mood, but I wanna hear an MC who will take me to another level like Rakim or KRS 1. Looking to collab on some stuff with some dope MCs...
