thorns cut and prick through the flesh, last breath of a dying breath, relax tense the muscles as we fight again the bustle has me confused as to why the ups and downs of these relationships, cause caustic memoirs of memories that haunt an everlasting melancholy dream, flipped introverted and placed back on the highest pedestal, then broken into a million rooted pieces of a rose once that onced housed a soul with deep brown eyes that burned with fires that no longer shine, in the distance behind all the pain and sorrow lies truth to that abyss that is not a beating heart any more but the victim of a victimless crime masked through anecdotes and timelines scripted like a movie fealt, dealt, and thrown away, remodeled into a mere gaze into a once bright and fulfilled future turned into a million days and nights of anger, hate. lust, sin sloth, apathy is there no direction for this red rose turned black, a flower turned from beauty to ugly in a second , no longer able to attract no longer able to subtract the countless beatdowns and abuse, misused and floating through the wind on sails of love letters now nothing except for empty vessels that once housed emotion, is this destiny or is this what life brings…for us to wither, turn to dust and be buried witht he ashes of our ancestors into those graves, shells house the soul, the brian controls but when thats all dead what is left a dried husk of an epidermal outer exterior now a dried up rose, blowing away in the wind to be caught in the breath of someone just as empty as you were and the cycle begins all over again
