This year we want to produce some fun programming to broadcast LIVE on the site on February 21st for the DT AWARDS 2008. We would like you to help us do that by submitting a personal video to us. It’s totally optional but we think it will add to the online ceremony. This video should be no more than 15-30 seconds long.

If you’ve been nominated in multiple categories you should try to submit a video for each category if you’re gonna do this. The video should be quick shout out. Introduce yourself // Say hi to the dopetracks community.

Feel free to get creative as you like! DEADLINE: February 14th

INSTRUCTIONS—PLEASE READ

1. If you have a web camera with your PC/Mac Sign up to Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/signup Already a member? Sign in. http://www.youtube.com/login

Look for the word UPLOAD in the upper right corner navigation of the site. It should drop down if you roll over to show you two options.. Click on QUICK CAPTURE or just click here: http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_quick_capture

Click on READY TO RECORD and begin… Re-Record if necessary… Then click on PUBLISH You should now be on the saved screen. Look for a link that says My Uploads Find your new video and click on its title. This will most likely take you to a page that says your video is still processing. That’s fine. Just make note of the url in your browser… it should be a url like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsdiVBKro3 Copy and paste that url address into a new email and send it to: dtawards@dopetracks.com or reply with the info to this message. We’ll be able to play it from youtube for you if you give us the right url.

2. If you have a camcorder Record yourself, and then transfer the movie to your PC/Mac and send it as an attachment to dtawards@dopetracks.com. File formats can be AVI, MPG The file shouldn’t be that big if you keep it under 25 seconds. Or you could upload it to youtube as well and send us the url.

We will do our best to include it in the programming…. So do your best to impress!
