it looks like we will be doing sunday sample over 7 days now… which means that we choose the sample on Sunday and post it the following sunday.

The rules will be a little different -

- you can post more than one beat if you like but when we list all the beats to compare we only list one per person, and i will include one on the SSC mixtapes.

- we want to link in emcees more, BUT it’s still a beat contest first and foremost. Some people don’t like vocals in the tracks, so what we will do is still to allow vocals, but you need to include a beat-only part in your track. that can be at the end, start or anywhere. and you need to ear mark it on the track so people who are only into the beats can judge it just on that.
Alternatively, upload the instrumental and the vocal track separately.

- when we list the beats we will separate vocal tracks

there are a few tings to decide, like
- who chooses samples
- exact timings for sample agreement and how to make sure it works

this week being the start of a new era, i want you all to suggest some samples to go with for the first 7 day crunch.

@sein.. that is so fucking weird that you posted that TV quiz video…i played that literally just before i found that miles davies track. think about how many millions of videos there are and the fact that it doesnt come up with typical search. FREAKY.

problem is that its low quality and there are 10 different track. really thats not a huge problem but it is cool when we’ve all worked on the same parts.
