dont know what most people on dt make their music on, but the mixing needs work. in most cases, down right weak. my shit is far from the illest on here, but i take pride in my music and strive for a certain quality of sound. dont get me started on the fisher price mics fools are usin to record vocals.

yo the track recorder on this site is far from fuckin pro tools! you can only do so much I got a 150.00 mic and it still sounds like shit on here.
but I like the pages concept and think thay should build on that.So i’m gonna rep wether it sounds like shit or not but thats just me

see, my thing is, i make a beat…. then im burnt on engineering/producin so i start writing…. most of the time i will go back for a mixdown, and then a mastering… but if im done with a beat (meaning im not gonna record vocals on it or i dont feel its overall hot enough) i wont waste my time…...im checking your beats out now, be prepared from criticism

k im back to comment…. so you have great production, but your composition is basic, not that its a bad thing, i just prefer a little more to the beat, but a MC could fill in those blanks…. but if you really are a perfectionist, i would add some layering maybe even some simple little transition instruments to give it a bigger feel…. you really got talent man, and your a local we should definitely collab

..... you do need lyrics to spit, but honestly i know tons of great writters, but when it comes to recording …..they do 105 takes…. plus if you arent ready to spit it in 5 takes, you arent ready to spit it… and those 5 takes include overdubs and shit. if you hit 30 takes, your artist is usually tired and wont have the right energy.
honestly, i dont know how ever feels about my flows, but i know im more of a perfectionist when it comes to me spitting then when it comes to me producing.
