is Dopetracks still a going concern for the DT team?
Heads need to know. There has been no contests, promotions, special events, or simply any interaction from DT HQ for some time now – the community is as thin as we’ve ever seen it (often 90% of those online are fake ad accounts etc.)

ARE THERE ANY PLANS TO AWAKEN DT AND ENTICE THE ONCE LOYAL CREW BACK ONLINE, OR…..is this the final times?

Don’t mean to be over dramatic about this but this is how a lot of people feel about DT now. It would be a massive shame to just let it

true be told - dopetracks is one of t he weaker hiphop sites on the web - i liked it 3 years ago - but things changed - now im on other sites and doing my own thing with www.hiphopsoldiers.com .. alot of sick hiphop sites out there - you should take a look around @duck - i only come on dopetracks to post a forum link now and then - i dont even post my latest tracks on dt anymore – some people thought dopetracks was this big thing ,, but truth be told its just a website that some dude made - just like most others – it ant nothing special — the people made it special ,, and without having the means to keep the people interested and happy ,, they will move on ,, im sure dt still gets good stats but stats dont mean much when the real heads are gone

Doesn’t really matter too me, I have my standards and stick to them no matter what’s going on on DT, I don’t need contest or anything like that to get me going, I’m self motivated……

I just hate the people that don’t realize first off this is a public website and when you post music it’s gonna get a comment, some of them good some of them bad, we as artist and producers can’t be held down by these words just uplifted. I feel like you can talk all the trash you want, but I only listen to those who help.

Yeah dt is pretty toast and has been I lost most my interest in it bout two years back
I still post songs but never inbox people I never check mine I just know the
People I like on here so I check em then I’ll jump around and check some random
People too ….. I got like 8 comments on my new song and that’s prolly all I’ll get…..

Contests were always cool and the awards were cool but now I could care less to see them

Nah; toast isn’t quite right; ya slap enough butter on that shit you can always bring it back… I notice trends, and when certain things go down I’ve noticed that many of the OG’s will often show face again, n when I peep that facebook deal, I see a bunch of familiar faces still be checkin in, yet they just don’t comment anymore, n I bet it’s cuz the DT rate of return so low… blame’s a double edged sword. I’m not saying I’m perfect, I catch feelings too, but when folks be gettin all butt hurt over unrealistic expectations n actin all adolescent like, that’s when we fail each other (as well as ourselves mostly).

Of course we all have our own purpose for why we do what we do here, but I most certainly do agree (w/you Duck) there seems to have been an abandonment by DT’s management. For what seems to be in hope for DT’s member numbers to keep rising, they’ve allowed little kids to create multiple accounts, cyber bully one another, and upload shit that isn’t theirs because ultimately they can’t be blamed due to their disclaimer. -But…when people stop supporting real talent in general, & only “support” based on what their “crew” is feeling at the time (yeah; you too), or off how their support might be interpreted, they’re just playing themselves without realizing it…,

n that, to me; is whacker than the fact that the least talented people can still to this day, make front page on the daily by playing the DT game correctly…
